I can't wait for....

my first race t-shirt of the year. I am signed up for PCTR's Sequoia Trail Run tomorrow! It's the 10K and no I am not running. I will be walking it. But a glorious hike it will be. Maybe I can be get the dubious honour of finishing dead last? What is the official acronym for that? Whatever it is, I'm excited.

The acronym you are looking for is

Very cool, Miki! It's great you're going to get yourself back out there. Just make sure you take it nice and easy. Hey, I have an idea...why don't you go barefoot to make sure you don't push yourself too hard :-)

Best of luck and have a blast. Say hi to all the regulars for me.

Good luck on your DFL!

At least you weren't a klutz and fell, like I did. I think you're well on your way to recovering since, with your walking pace, I only came in a few seconds before you. It was great meeting you and I think you have a great attitude. I'll be wishing you a speedy and complete recovery. I hope to see in you at one of the future events. Best wishes.

Thanks peeps!

Steve, there were definitely regulars out there . I missed Will though he was there. Todd spoke to him briefly before he ran quickly out of sight. :)

Etattorney: Nice to meet you! Put a nice ending on my first trail race of the year. And hey, what did you think put me on the disabled list in the first place. At least you were still walking!!!

Angie: DFl total bragging rights. Absolutely.

Okay, so for my edification, why are you a short angry person? Short I understand, but angry? You seem pretty upbeat. Any how, I doubt you'll ever be DFL. Maybe in about 30-40 years, but then again, I've had the 80-year-old grandmothers pass me by in some of my races and I'm still not DFL, even on my worst days. Go figure. At any rate, you go girl and you keep going, okay?
